The Milford Historical Society is interested in preserving
artifacts from the past for present and future generations to see and learn about.
Learning about the old tools, appliances and means of transportation can help develop in
our youth an understanding of the hard work and ingenuity of the people who made modern
conveniences possible.
Coming generations can develop an appreciation for, and be inspired to go
on to, great accomplishments by learning about the talents, strengths and courage of past
generations. Present residents of Milford can develop greater civic pride by
enjoying the programs and publications given by the Historical Society.

The Carey House is the Historical Society's home. The house is open to
the public on the 2nd Saturday and Sunday every month from 2pm to 4pm and the 2nd and 4th
Tuesday of each month from 9am to 11am.
